Can't Stop Thinking About You (Napkin Fold Card)

ETA: My Napkin Fold card was choosen Top 3 by Simply Magnolia DT. Thanks Ladies!

Hello my dear friends,
This is my very first Napkin Fold Card and I wanted to share it with you. I learned how to make it with a great tutorial over at Stamp ARTic. This time I used my Bon Voyage Tilda. She looks so beautiful sitting there, just thinking about "you". This is one of those stamps that you can use any time and for any occasion. Love it!

This Napkin Fold card is basically composed of two parts: The body of the card and the band that wraps around it and keeps the card closed.

To decorate the band, I cut (2) 3 1/4" in. circles (basic and shadow mode) with my cricut and a scallop to match. I embossed the circle for some texture using my favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder: Swiss Dots. Then I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a white crochet flower my friend Lulu made for me. I finished it with a couple of swirls cut with my cricut and some butterflies made with Martha Stewart's Classic Butterfly punch.

To  make the body of the Napkin Fold card I used a 12" x 12" kraft cardstock, decorating  the edges with Martha Stewart's around the page punch: Cherished. This is how the card looks as you start to open it.

And here it is, fully opened! to expose all folds decorated with paper from My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found collection and Bo Bunny, Gabrielle's collection.

The sentiment was heat embossed on the gorgeous Magnolia Doohickey: Dream Tag. Unfortunately you can't really see the embossing on this picture :(

The butterfly on the right corner of the card, was made using Martha Stewart's Monarch Butterfly punch. I then decorated it with Crystal Stickels, a little rose and two pins to mimic the antennas. I love the way it came out!

Finally, I would like to share the Copic markers I used to color Bon Voyage Tilda this time: Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E51 and E50. Overalls: BG18, BG15, BG 11 and BG0000. Blouse and Socks: C5, C3 and C1.

Today I am entering the following challenges:

Just Magnolia and Hanglar & Stanglar: Bingo (Pins, Flowers, Embossing)
Simply Magnolia: Love Is In The Air.

 Thanks for visiting!

Tilda's Enchanted Garden (Altered Jar)

ETA: WOW!!! I Won all 4 challenges I entered with my Tilda's Enchanted Garden. Thanks to TOMIC, It's a Magnolia Challenge, MDUC and All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge!

Hi everyone,
I'm very excited to share this project with you today. I recycled my Recollections fabric flowers jar to create this little Enchanted Garden for my "Butterfly Tilda". I had a lot of fun with this creation and hope you enjoy it too!

I love recycling and when I bought the flowers I knew I was going to use this beautiful jar in one of my projects.

To create Tilda's Enchanted Garden I wanted to use the beautiful Tilda with 3 flowers but I also wanted her to be a butterfly. Well, I decided to make her own Butterfly Wings! I resized the digital stamp: Butterbies-Vanessablack from Hero Arts to fit Tilda.  I colored the wings with my Copics and applied a double coat of Glimmer Mist. Then I covered all the black areas with Black Diamond Stickles. Finally, to give the wings a shiny look,  I applied a thick layer of Glossy Accents... and Walla!

I used the following Copic markers to color Tilda: Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Dress and Socks: R89, R85, R83 and R81. Flowers: Y17, Y15, Y11 and Y000.  Shoes: E35, E31 and E53. All the little butterflies are colored with Copics too (using the same Reds and Yellows described above).

I decorated the glass with this gorgeous paper from My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found Two collection. The edge punch is from Martha Stewart Crafts and the pearl's strip was actually recycled from an old dress. Tilda's Enchanted Garden flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This week I'm entering these challenges:
TOMIC: Recycle something.
Magnolia Down Under Challenge: Butterflies.
It's a Magnolia Challenge: Pink, Butterflies and Flowers.
All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge: Stretch Your Imagination.

Thanks for visiting!

Jolly Tilda Gift Box

Hello dear scrappy friends!
This week I decided to make another Gift Box to share with you. This time I used Jolly Tilda as my focal point. She is gorgeous and so fun to work with. Like I said before, it's never to early to start working on some Christmas projects. I wanted to use traditional Christmas colors with a vintage look. So this is what I came with. Hope you like it!

This Jolly Tilda Gift Box was inspired by the challenges I'm entering this week. Magnolia Down Under Challenge: Inspired by a song (We Wish You a Merry Christmas-Enya), Just Magnolia and Hanglar & Stanglar Challenge: Holiday Fun! and Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge: Flowers.

The beautiful paper is from My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found collection. I'm in love with it! The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added some white glitter and glimmer mist for that extra sparkle.

 I colored Jolly Tilda with my Copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Outfit: W5, W3 and W1. Hat and Gloves: R39, R27, R24 and R22. Shoes: C7, C5, C3 and C1. Gifts: YG97, YG93,YG91, E57, E55 and E53.

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Birthday Brian!

ETA: My Birthday Boy card won the TGF challenge: Which One Wednesday (Favorite color combo). Yeah!

Good morning all,
Today is a very very special day....my baby boy is turning 7! (not really a baby anymore). He is such an amazing little guy...smart, funny, kind, good friend...just a wonderful son. I can't thank God enough for sending this angel to my life.

So, to celebrate Brian's Birthday I'm sharing this card today. I used Ian from The Greeting Farm for my Birthday Boy card. He is such a cool little dude that I thought he would be perfect for this! I also used my favorite color combo: Orange/Blue to enter the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge.

I colored Ian with my Copic markers: Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Sweater and hat: YR18, YR15, YR12 and YR00. Shoes and hat's visor: E57, E55 and E53. Jeans: B97, B95 and B21. The paper is DCWV, All About Boys stack and the Birthday Boy clear stamp from My Mind's Eye.
